Unfurling a piece of history!
Whilst we are open for Key Worker children we have the time to open our secret box on the wall in Oak class and with the help of one of our pupils and our caretaker, Mr Bardsley, we have partly opened the ancient map of Scarisbrick and the surrounding areas. It is amazing. We were hoping to get it framed and display it on our hall wall. The measurements of 3 meters and 30 cm wide has proven to wide for our wall- we have not opened it to its full length yet so do not know its height!
Does anyone have any ideas of where it would be best hung? I can not think of the best museum. I will send the information to the newspaper and the local booklet 'Scarisbrick Matters' and see if we have any suggestions.
